    How long is the video archive stored?

    In standard settings, the video archive is usually stored for 14 to 30 days. Retention time can be customized by choosing an appropriate hard drive (HDD) capacity.

    How do cameras work in the dark?

    Modern cameras are equipped with Infrared (IR) illumination or “ColorVu” technology, ensuring clear and color images even in complete darkness.

    What happens to cameras during a power outage?

    To ensure uninterrupted operation, an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) can be added to the system, keeping cameras running for several hours.

    Can cameras recognize car license plates or human faces?

    Yes, we offer smart cameras with AI features that can automatically read license plates, recognize faces, and distinguish humans from animals.

    Are wireless (Wi-Fi) cameras as reliable as wired cameras?

    Wired (PoE) connections are always more stable and secure. Wi-Fi cameras are recommended only when cable running is not possible.

    Can cameras withstand Latvian winter cold and rain?

    Yes, for outdoor surveillance we use IP66/IP67 rated cameras, fully protected against moisture, dust, and frost.

    What happens when the disk space for video recording runs out?

    The system operates in an automatic cycle loop – when the disk is full, new recordings automatically overwrite the oldest ones.

    Is it possible to receive motion notifications on a phone?

    Yes, notifications can be set up in the app to instantly send an alarm signal and photo whenever motion is detected in the monitored zone.
